TIMBERIDGE NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

I regret to share my negative experience at Timberidge. My loved one spent several months there, and it was truly disheartening to witness the level of care provided. First and foremost, the hygiene of residents is a major concern. I often found my family member not receiving regular showers or proper personal care. It's distressing to see that basic hygiene needs are neglected, leaving residents feeling uncomfortable and unwell. Additionally, I noticed that teeth brushing was never happening, which is unacceptable. Oral hygiene is crucial, particularly for elderly individuals, and its neglect can lead to serious health issues. Moreover, I was appalled by the staff’s lack of attentiveness in feeding residents. On numerous occasions, I found my loved one left in bed for extended periods without proper meals. There didn’t seem to be any routine to ensure everyone was fed adequately. This neglect not only affects physical health but also impacts the dignity of the residents. What troubled me even more was the response from the administration. The administrator and the director of nurses could care less about our concerns. Despite bringing these issues to their attention multiple times, they did nothing to address them. Their apparent indifference was disheartening and only added to the frustration during an already difficult time. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with the caregiving at Timberidge. It’s crucial for such facilities to prioritize the well-being and comfort of their residents. I hope improvements are made for the sake of those who deserve better care and attention.

My Dad has been in a couple of Nursing Homes and I have to say Timber Ridge by far is the BEST. The nurses really care about the patients. My Dad is well taken care of and I do not worry about him at all. Patty the DON is excellent and she goes out of her way for the patient and the family. I am very pleased with this Nursing Home. My family has experienced some bad ones. We are so thankful we found this perfect place for my Dad (Arthur Dietz). Thank you to all the staff and nurses who look after my Dad. You don't know how much we appreciate your kindness to our little Pops and to all the other residents. Thank you again, Melissa Helton

Worst place ever. Did not care for my mother at all. Left her in bed for hours. No one ever answered call lights. Social worker unable to get us any support. Administrator with resting mad face and head nurse lady did not care that she did not get a shower. Therapy almost did nothing and left her in bed. Run do not use this place!
