My father passed in their facility on January 11. We did not receive a statement of sympathy, instead we received a phone call one week after he passed stating we needed to pay his balance for the month. The bill was paid in full in February, and on March 23, we received a FINAL NOTICE letter demanding payment (which had been paid weeks earlier). I was going to pass on leaving a negative review, but in their last statement (showing a zero balance), they thought it would be cute to circle "if you have already made payment". Well, Trail Lake, how about you check your financial statements before sending nasty letters to families who have already paid and are grieving? This shows their lack of compassion, so that's why I chose to include the photo. The employees of this facility should be ashamed of how they treat their patients and their families. I received a sympathy card from my ophthalmologist, and not one word of sympathy from the place where my father lived for 14 months. Not one word. Disgusting. The last thing I wanted was to send my dad to a nursing home, but we had no other choice. If you need nursing care for yourself or a loved one, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Wish there were zero stars because that's what they deserve.
I thought it was going yo be s nice place for my mom very clean. No smell. But looks are deceiving. My mom was there for 21 days for rehab. She was there now for 1 week 1/2 and she came in with bell palsey on her lefted side which she was unable to eat right.and bad headache. My mom was s pickie eater. Her food had to be prurad. She didn't eat much. I would come visit every day to make sure she OK. They would put her tray in the room and walk off. I mention to them that she couldn't feed her self. Something was more wrong with my mom. I think she aspirated by drinking and it went down wrong which caused alot of fluid build up in her lungs and no one could recognize it. She was getting sicker I ask the nurse to check her breathing she said it was fine also checked her oxygen level looked find. My mom would not get out of bed she couldn't feed herself so I needed to call the hospital to come and get her. She was 4 days if not more her lungs filled up with fuild. She couldn't do anything. When the EMTs got there they talked to the nurse and she said the she just started getting sick today.she lied. I told the EMTs that its been going on for 4 days or more. EMTs checked her they found fluid on her lungs right away and her oxygen was low. Her heart rate was going up and blood pressure went down. She was in cruital condition. EMTs said that it happens all the time. There's 2 doctors there my moms I only seen once the whole time I was there every day. The other doc came everyday to check on his patients. I changed doc that day but little did I know he was never going to see her. Got her to the hospital she was very sick. They put 60 percent oxygen on her so for the next 2 days the oxygen was putting so much pressure on her heart. Her heart stopped. She passed away. I don't like this nursing home do to the fact that they didn't recognize her health was in danger. While my mom was there she fell out of her wheel chair. Brused her arm. Another time she didn't help going to the bathroom. She ended up going by herself. When I got there I had to clean her up and change her clothes. Another day I arrived her food tray was in front of her and she was sitting in her wheel chair her food was on the floor and all over her night gown. I changed her and cleaned the mess up I talk to the nurse and she said that someone came Down to help feed her. If they had it would not have been all over herself and on the floor. Some of the staff are nice. But the people that take care of the patients. Are so noisy inconctrit the patients can't sleep they talk loud and bang things around. They pay good money to stay there they should get better treatment. They need to be respected and loved. Treat them as if they where your parents or grandparents or family member. Not just take their money and u can treat them any way u want. My mom passed away 2 days after I put her in the hospital. Please don't take your family member here if u love them find another way to care for them. They need to be turned in for the poor treatment to our family members.

Quality Score
Carley found the facility offers a beautiful, clean environment and strong rehab services, though families raised significant concerns about care quality, staffing responsiveness, and communication gaps.
