I was a patient here. I was left all alone in my room. With nobody to check on me. Might I add that I'm completely wheel chair bound.

After reading the most recent posting I felt it necessary to provide my thoughts about TLC. My son was admitted to TLC with traumatic brain injury 5 months after his accident. It was made quite clear in our interview that while TLC has a nursing staff onsite to assist with everyday medications and assist with medical complications that they were not equipped to handle more complex medical issues. Their job is focused on brain injury recovery. We were extremely fortunate because our stay at TLC was longer than most which is why I feel qualified in writing this review (more than 5 months, but less than a year). I have rated them 4 stars because no place is perfect. The actual brain injury recovery aspect of the facility is fantastic. The physical, occupational and speech therapists are top notch. The buildings were kept clean and the grounds were well maintained. The case managers are always available to talk about goals, etc. Family involvement is encouraged and I was always welcomed to most therapy sessions. We have been home now for 4 months and are hard pressed to find therapists as good as those at TLC. Sometimes life throws a curve ball at us and we end up facing challenges we never knew existed. TLC is fully equipped to help the brain injured as well as family members transition from skilled nursing or acute care to the home and community. If you take the time to look around at other brain injury facilities you will see that TLC is excellent.

At my time at Moody I was able to walk, talk, and live again. They took care of me when I most needed it most. The professionalism of the staff was impeccable thank you for everything.
