TUSCANY VILLAGE

I find my experience at Tuacany village very helpful,friendly and home like tradition. Very safe and conscious of your well being and needs. Very clean and professional. The food is great as well. Doijiha is awesome. Kennedy is also wonderful. Liz in therapy is easy to work with and very communicative.

This 'rehabilitation' home allegedly nurses and rehabilitate their patients with the end goal being the patients being able to be independent and mobile on their own again but when I go I see people literally deteriorating more and more each time I go to visit.. The day shift manager who is a very sweet African lady is not fit for the job as a rehabilitation home manager. Although she is kind, she cannot function properly under pressure. Every single time I come to visit my mother she is walking around looking stressed and forgetting everything I asked her for. I ask her for help with my mom because she has huge sores on her bottom making her uncomfortable and she doesn't even offer to send another nurse in or offer any type of solution. This is what me and my sister and dad have been going through for the past couple of months and it's heartbreaking this say the least. There is a very great and well equipped Asian lady who believe is the night shift manager is very attentive and helpful, even when I see that she is very busy... I take my concerns to the manager because the nurses that are assigned to my mother NEVER care! My mom will ask for the nurse, the nurse never comes. My mom will say she's in pain, no one answers her. My mom says she needs help, no one helps her unless I am approaching the day shift manager MULTIPLE times in one day. I am very disappointed in this owner of this home because he is there almost everyday and doesn't care that his managers and nurses are borderline negligent at all. Its all about the money and making sure your family stays sick so they can keep making rent off of them.

This is an amazing rehabilitation place! We had a great first experience starting with Cece! She made us feel welcome and they were ready for us! My dad has been in other rehabilitation places before. The other places didn't know he could walk until we got him out of bed. Every time I'm in the hall, I see PT at Tuscany in the hall walking the patients or in the PT room guiding exercises. At age 90, my dad is stronger than I could ever imagine him being! The entire staff was amazing from the nurses to the cafeteria and cleaning staff! I do want to say that at home my dad only eats 1 meal a day, using Boost as a supplement. My dad eats all three meals each day he is served at Tuscany. The food is surprisingly good! He even has favorites that he wants us to start making at home 🙂. I wish I could specifically name each and every one, but I really wanted to highlight the positive life changing effects that the rehabilitation had on my dad. Thank you Tuscany!
