Texas's 10th state veterans home, opened March 2025. Named after Tuskegee Airmen - first African American combat flying program in US Armed Forces. 100,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility serving 120 veterans, spouses, and Gold Star parents. 72 rooms (24 private). Specialized 30-bed memory support neighborhood. Veterans with 70%+ service-connected disability live at no cost. Four 'neighborhoods' with living/media/library spaces, dining areas, hospitality stations, screened patios, and garden areas. P-51C Mustang replica at entrance.

The whole building inside and out was spectacular. Not smells, no dirt. The staff all locked confidently and were all friendly. I felt warm and comfortable while walking the hallways. The Roma were large and the semi private Rooms felt more like private rooms. I would feel very comfortable living there.
Awesome!! 5 Star nursing home. The staff were professional and answered all my questions. The nursing staff are personal and welcoming. Can't say enough about the food, its delicious. The veterans are treated with respect and love. Well deserved. There is an on-site barbershop that serves every Wednesday for veterans. On scheduled dates the home provides transportation to the local Walmart giving the vetetans the opportunity to go shopping for all their personal needs. I highly recommend the Tuskegee Airmen Nursing home it's the perfect place for veterans.
Visited my brother in law at this facility today, and I was very impressed. Very clean and appeared to be fresh with no bad smells. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m so happy he found a cozy and happy, safe place.
