The staff is very courteous and professional when they work with you but it seems like the team work is not there. There are times in the first shift, I will switch my call light on and I'll be waiting an hour plus for help. If I was to have fallen noone would have reacted right away and I could have been seriously injured. I did fall once and Rachel overnight CNA was there right away and did great. The CNA's I have had Victoria, Kosha, Shiwa, Rachel, and there is one more I forgot her name are awesome and are 5star, and are busy bees, they run around with a lot on their plate. The nurses, aside from Nurse Rose I feel only really pass out meds and change wound dressings, they don't jump in to help their CNA's when they are helping other patients with patient care to make the process run more smoothly. Nurse Rose always makes it a point for me to have what I need and is very consistent and stays on top of her work, and I applaud that. The weekend male nurse for 200 hall on the other hand kinda seems like he's irritated a lot when he has to work, and likes to push everything on the CNA, like one time he brought me meds and he didn't have water so I could take my meds so he pushed the call button and said "the Aide will be here" rudely and walked away. Also, I needed to be changed on my first weekend and he would not help to make sure I was dry. He was more concerned with trying to find a CNA to do it although hours had passed on multiple occasions. This place is not perfect and some of the staff definitely need to be better trained to work with people, as I would hope they would take care of us like they take care of their own family, but overall my experience has been good. Physical therapy staff, I have had Linda alot and she is awesome. She is very knowledgeable and I can see how she cares for me as well as the other patients. I'm bad with some other names but all the others are really great too, but Linda is mainly who I have worked with.

There were many helpful concerned people involved with my care. Nurse Rose, CNA Ic, Medical Aide True, Therapists Phillip, Leo, Dennis and others were consistent in their professional concern and helpful attitude. The atmosphere was one of desire to help me recover in caring, friendly surroundings. The doctors and staff were attentive and concerned with my steady recovery and overall well being.

In the last month, it’s been challenging with my grandmother’s care due to how it’s being managed. Even though I have concerns, there is staff that I can count on when they are working. Thank you Net, Kosha, Obee, Trina, Grace, Ann, Sharon (social worker), and even Laureen who does great with the activities, has also helped with my grandma. I know new staff is being trained and have met some of them. I hope it gets better with the additional staff.
