VILLA OF CORPUS CHRISTI SOUTH

My mother in law moved into this place earlier this year and unfortunately, she passed away on November 1st. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to care for her during her stay and especially during the last several days she was alive. They took really good care of my mother in law and attended to her (and our) every want and need. Thank you all so much for all you did for my husband and I and especially for my mother in law.

My mom lived at Villa South for a little over a year, and our family will always be grateful for the love and kindness she received there. The staff were so caring, patient, and treated her like family from the very beginning. She loved playing bingo and joining in on the activities — it truly brought her joy. Even as her health declined, the caregivers and nurses were amazing right to the very end. They showed so much compassion, not just to my mom but to all of us. Knowing she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared gave us peace and comfort during a difficult time. Villa South will always hold a special place in our hearts for the way they cared for Mom with dignity, warmth, and love.

We moved my Dad into Villa South about 3 weeks ago. He resides in the memory care Unit, where he is receiving excellent treatment. I spoke with dad just the other day and he consistently raves about how wonderful it is there! He went on and on about how the meals are so delicious and filling. He expressed that not once has he experienced any measure of unkindness or rude behavior; stating “Everyone is really nice, so kind and professional!” He said he enjoys the activities and especially Bible Study. It gives me a lot of comfort and peace of mind to know that my dad is treated well. I personally appreciate the open lines of communication from the staff. I am able to message the nurse at anytime and she always replies within a reasonable timeframe. When I have called to check in on dad, the staff takes the time to talk to me, I don’t ever feel rushed or dismissed. I also really enjoy the activity updates on their Facebook page. There, I can see dad actively participating in activities with staff and volunteers. Villa South has been a blessing all the way around and we are very grateful that dad is adjusting so well. We look forward to a continuously positive relationship with this community…from now until the day God calls dad home. 💙
